This Sunday, Sept. 14^th, Calvary Presbyterian Church is having worship and a picnic in the Ryder Park with worship beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The worship service will feature special music from Herb Shafer, Marlin and Leslie Peterson family, and Upper Room Teens.
Following worship there will be hamburgers and hotdogs provided.
You are invited to join them for this special day, just bring a side dish or dessert to share.
ALL ARE WELCOME!
In the event of poor weather, the worship and meal will be moved to Ryder School Gym.
Come join us for a special day!

Ryder's Annual
Harvest Hoe Down

On September 27th the Ryder Community Club will once again have their Harvest Hoe Down. Festivities begin at Noon with the
Community Auction Sale
Carnival In The Park
Kid's Activities
Bessie Bingo
Cake Walk

Items for auction may be delivered to the City Building just North East of the Park during the day or evening after September 22nd and 2 hours prior to the auction.
 Auctioned items will return 70% of the selling price to the contributor, the Ryder Community Club will retain 30%.
This has always been a fun event, some good/interesting items have been auctioned. Look around your garage, attic, basement.
Register and label your items.
Stop in at the cafe and get the key for the City Building, (if it's not open).

The Tractor Trek will be passing through Ryder
on October 3rd traveling from Douglas to Makoti
for the Threshing Show.

The Ryder Community Club has been busy with Bingo to raise money.  It’s held every Friday at 8 pm at Curt’s Place on Main Street.  The yearly July membership drive is already in swing.  The fees are $5.00 for a single and $10 for a couple.  To join, stop in at Curt’s Place and put your name on the board, new ideas are always welcome.  The donations, fees and support are greatly appreciated.  The club does a lot in the community like helping with the expenses with the bull-a-rama, city and park improvements, signs, kid’s activities, and much more.
