FOR PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE
Seal Failure Sensing

he
DAKOTA SEAL recognizes excessive seal wear before lubricant leakage or a contaminated bearing component, and failure occurs. This cost-effective method to detect seal wear places a circuit at the maximum allowable wear point of the seal. When an open circuit is detected or a grounding of the conductor occurs, this signals replacement. Any Mechanical, Linear Action or Radial Lip type seal that you presently use may be equipped with this sensor.

he
DAKOTA SEAL monitors the actual amount of wear on the seal, so there is no problem with early or late replacement of the seal based on a scheduled replacement program. Seals can be replaced when maximum allowable wear occurs, thus maintenance costs are reduced.

se of this technology would be beneficial in
INDUSTRIAL PLANT MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORTATION, MEDICAL, AERONAUTICS, MINING and all forms of liquid or gas transfers.
